Cd Cover-Artwork info
When Wil was a young boy he dreamed of flying Navy jets, now you can see him flying to outer space on the cover of his CD together with all the other flying figures headed out there.
The markings & artwork designed by BLUE-EYED were inspired by man's pending space journeys . Inspirations include:
- ancient rough cave sketches showing figures flying through the air & curiously resembling ultramodern "trackings"or electronic memories from detectors used in controlled particle colliders that penetrate the structure of matter revealing flashing traces of energy in a new micro world; energy that may be convertible into new forms of matter .

- the flying crows in the CD cover artwork were also inspired by perhaps
Vincent Van Gogh's last painting

and also by the proposed designs of some of the light spacecraft that may well fly around Mars one day.
- the original CDSingle cover in 1994 featured a long slim version of the space craft "Discovery" but that was not the version originally imagined for the cover design. By 1999 spacecraft had taken a new triangular form....the one that had been intended for the CD........it had been inspired by an ancient Mayan artifact which just happens to be in a form resembling the most recent spacecraft designs now in existence.
BLUE & RED are used in measuring to determine if our universe is expanding or contracting (blue shift, red shift & infrared). The pictures sent back to earth come through in red, blue & green
Those that fly the space crafts say that looking back on the earth as they leave, the spectacle is so beautiful that it is hard to imagine all the strife & conflict that exist today in our world. Even the search for qualified people who can get along with each other for long periods of time under pressure is a difficult matter to resolve. But it happens........
Perhaps we are all looking to go beyond in some way.
As the first line of the lyrics to the title track says:
"we're just pale shadows of what we can be"
